WHO IS THE MEDICAL DIRECTOR OF BARIATRIC ASSOCIATES?
Dr. Tafuri is a Board Certified Physician with 15 years private practice experience in Connecticut, of which 9 years were dedicated to treating patients with obesity. He is a member in good standing of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.

Dr. Tafuri has spent the last several years in the research and development division of a major pharmaceutical company studying type 2 diabetes, obesity, insulin resistance, and the metabolic syndrome. He also recently completed advanced training and was awarded a certificate in Obesity Medicine at Harvard Medical School.


WHO IS THE BEHAVIORAL DIRECTOR OF BARIATRIC ASSOCIATES?
Loretta Tafuri, R.N., M.B.A. has been actively involved in the field of Holistic nursing and Energy Medicine for over 20 years. She has worked extensively as a nurse consultant, educator, and speaker on both the community and state levels. Her focus is on disease prevention, health maintenance and weight management thorough the use of alternative and complementary modalities, including energy healing techniques that complement traditional forms of healing.

Loretta is currently completing her Ph.D. in Natural Health and Holistic Nutrition and has completed additional training as an Integrative Medicine Practitioner.
